Since 2007, the Performance Marketing Awards have heralded some of the most innovative marketing initiatives in the space. This eleventh edition was no exception, and we are so pleased that the entry for Best Finance Campaign from Direct Line Group and Performance Horizon received this prestigious award.
The winning entry for this category reflected DLG’s bid to reinvent their affiliate program for long-term profitability. In so doing, Direct Line Group made good on its goal to “revolutionize” its affiliate strategy.
Making the decision to significantly change strategy in our space takes both courage and a commitment to strategic and tactical excellence. DLG’s shift to focusing on content sites reflected a belief that the partnerships arena is about creating brand value. For DLG the results were fantastic — performance significantly exceeding both sales and quotes targets by 10% and strong margin improvement.
