Over the past decade, the partner marketing category has grown enormously. One of the most active segments is what is called “performance partnerships,” in which an advertiser agrees to pay a fee to other companies for each sale that they drive to the advertiser.
Many brands are already leveraging performance-based partnerships to drive sales and enhance brand perceptions. Many more are in the process of either expanding their efforts or starting to create their first partnerships.
